How may I cast my vote?
If you are on active duty with any military
service, and will be out of the
county on Primary Day or Election Day, you may request an application
for an absentee ballot from any New York State Board of Elections.

Primary Election:
For military voters not previously registered, the Board of Elections
must receive the application for a ballot by August ___, 2008. For military voters
previously registered, the Board of Elections
must receive the application for a ballot by September ___, 2008, or the voter must apply
personally by September ___, 2008.
The ballot must be postmarked by
September 11, 2008, and received by the Board of Elections by September ___,
2008,
or delivered in person to the Board of Elections by September ___, 2008.
General Election: For military voters not previously registered, the Board of Elections
must receive the application for a ballot by October ___, 2008. For military voters previously registered, the Board of Elections
must receive the application for a ballot by October ___, 2008, or the voter must
apply personally by November ___, 2008.
The ballot must be postmarked by
November ___, 2008, and received by the Board of Elections by November ___, 2008. Military voters previously registered may apply in person at the
Board of Elections by November ___, 2008, and deliver the ballot in person to the Board of Elections by
November ___, 2008.
