THE LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS ®
OF SUFFOLK COUNTY

"This is Suffolk County"

Every five years, the League of Women Voters, in cooperation with  Suffolk County,  prepares a book that describes the various branches of the County Government, whether officials are elected or appointed, how laws are created, and how to contact various departments.  For more than 24 years, "This is Suffolk County" has appeared only in a printed edition.  For the first time, an on-line version has been made available in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format.

The book represents two years of work by League members, and by personnel on the staff of the various County offices represented in the book.  The print version and the PDF version were prepared by the County's Print Shop in Yaphank.

When you have Acrobat Reader loaded on your computer, you may view, print out or download either the whole book, or just the chapter of interest.
